AboutUnity Youth Theatre

unityyouththeatre was founded in Spring 2004 by HelenFlooks.

unitytheatre has provided arts based activities for children aged 5 – 13 years for well over a decade. It seemed like a logical progression to develop a project for the next age group up and the Heritage Lottery Fund made it possible to create a UYT project as part of unitytheatre’s 25th Birthday celebrations”
Helen Flooks (UYT Founder)

unityyouththeatre founder Helen Flooks passed away in February 2008.
To honour her, Times Like These was performed in the Capital of Culture year, September 2008.
